2009 was a great year for the First Annual Georgetown COOK-OFF! Teams competed for medallions in Best Stew, Best Bread, and Best Cobbler. And the winners are: Best Stew: The Southenders Best Bread: Ole and Lena’s Grub Best Cobbler: Hungry Mamas
A great time was had by all, especially when the FREE TASTINGS began!
The day finished up at Hamill Park in the Tommyknocker Beer Garden and Brat Booth. Delicious! Hope you can join us next year for a beer, brat, and some one-pot cookin’.

Georgetown COOK-OFF 2010 |

The 2nd Annual Georgetown COOK-OFF will be held on September 18, 2010.
The COOK-OFF and Beer Garden will be located in downtown Georgetown.
This year the COOK-OFF will feature live music, a Beer & Bratwurst Garden, live entertainment, games for the kids, and a pre-kick-off event at the Central City Opera House, featuring comedian Louis Anderson.
Gates open at 10:00am with Miner’s Stew and Rocky Mountain Cobbler tastings beginning at 1:00pm. Judging begins at 1:00pm and the winners will be named at 2:30pm. The Beer and Brat Garden will remain open until 4:00pm. |
